Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CEDD; (i) To coordinate all phases of IT/GIS/BIM projects within the project life cycle, and to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. (ii) To review, revise and/or prepare technical documentation, project reports, standards and specifications in order to ensure project deliverables meet business and technical requirements, following good coding practice. (iii) To provide technical support and maintenance for the existing IT/BIM/GIS systems of the Survey Division. (iv) To carry out quality control / quality assurance, system administration, security maintenance, and housekeeping of the IT facilities of Survey Division (v) To optimize system usage and to recommend/control the allocation of computer resources (vi) To monitor the performance of his subordinates (vii) To perform other duties as assigned by supervisors Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 8.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - A degree in either Computer Science, Information System, Land Surveying, Geomatics or equivalent, awarded by a university in Hong Kong or by an overseas education institution equivalent; - At least eight (8) years of post-qualification experience in IT or GIS applications development and maintenance of which at least three (3) years must be in similar post and in comparable capacity/duty; - At least eight (8) years of practical experience in implementation, system integration and maintenance with enterprise database applications; - At least three (3) years of practical experience in implementation, system integration and maintenance with GIS applications; - At least three (3) years of experience in feasibility/technical studies and team leading/supervision; - At least one (1) year IT experience in building Application Programming Language (API); and - At least one (1) year IT experience in implementing systems using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to manage geographical information or to embed AI model(s) into web applications Technical Skills: . At least 8 years' experience in Client/Server Application Development (C/S); . At least 8 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 8 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 8 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 8 years' experience in Tomcat Application Server (TOM); . At least 8 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 4 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO); . At least 4 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB); . At least 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI); . At least 2 years' experience in Geographic Information System (GIS). Non-technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 4 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . 2 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
