Job Key No 39796 Job Title/ Category Contract IT Assistant (non-shift duty) (Bid Ref 60340-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 09 Jul 2026 Contract Period 01 Aug 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (6 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Taikoo Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Helpdesk Support Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the BD; i) Working within the Helpdesk Team of Electronic Submission Hub (ESH), the role includes: -Handling phone calls, emails, and walk-in enquiries from the public, providing clear step-by-step guidance on system usage, processes, and procedures; -Delivering timely first-level troubleshooting and resolution for public users encountering issues related to system access, navigation, and functionality; -Supporting internal staff with system-related queries, troubleshooting, and access management to maintain operational efficiency; and -Recording all support requests in the helpdesk ticketing system, prioritising issues based on urgency, and monitoring resolution progress to ensure timely follow-up and case closure. ii) Perform other IT-related duties as instructed by BD. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 2.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements i) At least 2 year' post-qualification information technology experience of which 2 year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. ii) At least 1 year' experience of support in PC hardware, Microsoft Windows and Office. iii) At least 1 year' experience of Helpdesk Call Handling. iv) Have good communication skills. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Office Automation (OAN); . At least 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . At least 1 year's experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10). Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT); . 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent; - At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
