Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) The project involves the implementation of an advanced video analytics system, focusing on the development, optimisation, and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tools designed for intelligent video processing and automated analysis. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF; - Assisting in the development, coding, and delivery of high-quality solutions and software components; - Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving software bugs, routine system issues, and performance bottlenecks; - Executing system testing plans, conducting unit tests, preparing technical documentation, and maintaining up-to-date user manuals for system modifications; - Providing technical support to end-users, addressing system enquiries, and assisting in conducting user training sessions to facilitate smooth system adoption; and - Collaborating with developers, senior team members, end-users, vendors, and other project stakeholders to support smooth project execution throughout the development cycle. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 2.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Demonstrated practical experience in software development, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies and UI/UX design principles; - Proficiency in core programming language, specifically Python, Java, or C++; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven capability to translate defined business requirements into functional technical solutions, including Proof of Concept (PoC) development; - Hands-on experience in drafting technical documentation, executing test cases, assisting with software deployment pipelines, and delivering day-to-day user support; - Good interpersonal and communication skills to support effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration; - A positive learning attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools; and - The successful candidates will be required to undergo and pass security vetting conducted by the HKPF. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Apache Web Server (AWS); . At least 1 year's experience in Experience in C# programming (C#P); . At least 1 year's experience in C++ (C++); . At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL). Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in project management (PRM); . 6 months' experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
