Job Key No 39778 Job Title/ Category Contract Senior Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 60251-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 08 Jul 2026 Contract Period 01 Aug 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (6 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base HAHQ, Homantin Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Development, maintenance and support of IT application systems in Hong Kong Housing Authority Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HD; - Participate in full system development life cycle including requirement collection, system analysis and design, application development, testing, deployment and project management for IT application systems; - Manage a team of system analysts and programmers on application development and enhancement according to scope, schedule and development standard; - Maintain and support various web based application systems in particular e-Learning system and complaint and enquiry system; - Manage and administer MS Windows Servers and MS SQL Server including patch management and accounts review; - Ensure project deliverables are delivered on time and at an appropriate level of quality; and - Perform other administrative activities as when required. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent; - Minimum 6 years of IT working experience with at least 3 years as Systems Analyst or similar capacity; - Minimum 3 years' solid experience in Java application development such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring/EJB, etc. is a must; - Work experience in government department is preferred; - Organized, strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills; - Good communication skills and able to work independently with strong self-initiative; and - Proficiency in both English and Chinese. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 3 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE); . At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . 3 years' experience in Tomcat Application Server (TOM) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 3 years' experience in IT Service Management (SMG); . 3 years' experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
