(T26) Implementation and support technical infrastructure and private cloud platform.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HD;
Coordinate with contractor and IT support teams for implementing a new IT infrastructure.
Provide support on site preparation, hardware and software setup for servers, SAN storage, infrastructure software, operating systems, backup and monitoring software.
Review deliverables provided by contractor, monitor project progress and report progress to supervisor.
Implementation of technical infrastructure including site preparation.
System administration of technical infrastructure including servers and storage.

| Requirements |
Strong experience the implementation and support of virtual machines running on virtualization software;
Strong in Unix/Linux Shell scripting;
Solid experience in admin and support Linux servers;
Strong experience in anti-virus technology, system monitoring administration and operation; and
Solid experience in support system backup administration and operation.
Technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO);
. At least 6 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 6 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 6 years' experience in Red Hat Advanced Server (RHS);
. At least 6 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN);
. At least 6 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 6 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS);
. At least 2 years' experience in Open View (OPV);
. At least 2 years' experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT);
. 4 years' experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. Good written English is a must;
. At least 3 years' experience in vendor management (VMG);
. Good coordination skills is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
