| Project Nature |
(T26) To facilitate access to online information and services for all segments of the community including persons with disabilities and elders, the DPO launched a Digital Accessibility Campaign to drive the adoption of accessibility design in websites of both public and private sectors.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
Provide support to Assistant Systems Manager / Contract Senior Systems Analyst / Contract System Analyst for the following:
1. To assist in providing technical advice and liaise with Government Bureaux/Departments (B/Ds), public sector organisations and non-governmental organisations on accessibility requirements of version 2.0 or above of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) promulgated by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and web accessibility requirements;
2. To assist in maintaining a thematic portal (www.webforall.gov.hk), including developing and designing the website content, promotion material and banner;
3. Conduct accessibility conformance assessment on websites assist in following up with relevant parties;
4. Monitoring work on outsourced service contractors, including quality assurance of deliverables (e.g. website accessibility assessment reports) as well as project progress monitoring;
5. Provide technical advice for improving the accessibility of websites;
6. Provide technical advice on Elderly-friendly design on websites; and
7. Assist in designing and preparing both online and paper-based promotional materials.

| Requirements |
1. Must have programming experience in HTML5;
2. Must have programming experience in JavaScript;
3. Must have programming experience in web programming;
4. Must have work experience with/in the Government;
5. Must have experience in IT in Community;
6. Must have experience in outsourcing management;
7. Preferable to have experience in maintaining and administration of website;
8. Preferable to have experience in Digital Accessibility and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0 or above;
9. Preferable have Helpdesk Call Handling Technique; and
10. Preferable to have moderate exposure in written English.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5);
. At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
. At least 1 year's experience in Web Programming (WEB);
. 1 year's experience in Website Administration (WEA) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 1 year's experience in IT in the community e.g. promote the use of IT/IT awareness (ITC);
. At least 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT);
. Good written English is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
