Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSD; The proposed staff shall be responsible for providing technical support to set up the overall IT Infrastructure of the new District Court at new Caroline Hill Road and Kai Tak Hospital network implementation project that include, but not limited to, the followings: (a) solicit site preparation requirements of new District Court at new Caroline Hill Road and Kai Tak Hospital network implementation project, such as trunking, cabling and power supply; (b) participate in the overall IT infrastructure design including network and system/network management; (c) provide IT support for the implementation of site preparation work and the development of IT infrastructure; (d) participate in IT products and solutions sourcing and evaluation; (e) liaise and coordinate with external parties, including Architectural Services Department, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department and contractors, etc. for the implementation of site preparation work; (f) To provide round the clock first-line and/or second-line technical support for network infrastructure whenever there is problem in network related incident; (g) carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (a) The proposed staff must have working experience in:- (i) implementation and support of LAN/WAN, and (ii) site preparation; (b) holding Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA), Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP) or Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE), or equivalent networking certification is an advantage; (c) Allowed by the laws of HKSARG to have any forms of work in Hong Kong; (d) Good communication and skills, such as read and write Traditional Chinese and English, as well as communicate in fluent Cantonese and good English; (e) Overtime and on-call work is required when necessary; (f) Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast-learning and good team player; (g) Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required; (h) Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . At least 1 year's experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU); . At least 1 year's experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW); . At least 1 year's experience in Metro Ethernet (MET); . At least 1 year's experience in Router Configuration (ROU); . At least 1 year's experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN); . At least 1 year's experience in Wide Area Network (WAN); . 6 months' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Network Design (NDN) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Good coordination skills is a must; . At least 1 year's experience in site preparation (SPE); . 6 months' experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
