| Project Nature |
(T26) Provide implementation support to new projects and on-going maintenance support of a number of application systems in HKPF.
|
| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF;
- To provide implementation support to new/enhancement projects under OPS SYS, e.g. CAPFIS and Replacement of FPLS Kiosks.
- To provide on-going maintenance support to a number of existing HKPF systems, e.g. CAPFIS, FPLS and Duplicating Station.
- To manage and coordinate with the contractors and related parties in supporting new projects and existing systems.
- To perform systems analysis and design, program development, implementation and integration, various kinds of testing, installation, infrastructure design and technical support to various projects and systems throughout the SDLC.
- To provide on-call support to tackle urgent system and application incidents for the supported systems.
- To perform procurement of hardware, software and services.
- To carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

| Requirements |
The candidate shall possess the following mandatory skills:
(a) solid experience in SSADM
(b) solid experience in IT Application Development and Management
(c) solid experience in J2EE Development
(d) solid experience in Oracle RDBMS
(e) solid experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support
It is desirable if the candidate possesses the following skills:
(a) work experience with/in the Government
(b) experience in JBoss Application Server
(c) experience in MySQL
(d) experience in Management and Support of Gov Systems & Services
(e) experience in IT Procurement
(f) experience in PRINCE
(g) experience in Web Services
Vetting by HKPF is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
. At least 5 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 5 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
. At least 5 years' experience in SSADM (SDM);
. At least 5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. 2 years' experience in Web Services (WSV) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in PRINCE (PRE) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. 20.333333333333 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
