Shenzhen Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) The post is to work on the support of Internet Gateway Systems that serve over 15000 connections. The job nature includes on-going support and administration of Internet Gateway systems, monitor and report network activities for discovery and response to security incidents including but not limited to intrusions, denial of services and malicious data traffic. The job nature also includes support of ICT project implementation, network enhancement, provision of user and technical support. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF; The candidate will need to, (1) Support the planning, implementation, and enhancement of network infrastructure projects and maintenance, including but not limited to system upgrades and hardware replacements. (2) Ensure stable 24x7 operation of critical network environments (e.g., Police Data Network and Internet Gateway System), including but not limited to incident handling and timely service restoration. (3) Monitor and enhance existing network and security systems, including but not limited to improving visibility, alerting mechanisms, and analysis of network traffic, system logs, and security events. (4) Execute authorized network configuration changes, maintenance, and optimization to maintain high availability, performance, and compliance with security standards. (5) Provide technical support and cross-departmental coordination for IT project teams and end users, including but not limited to troubleshooting and issue resolution. (6) Leverage automation tools and AI technologies to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual effort. (7) Perform routine administration tasks, documentation, and other operational duties as required. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (1) The candidate must be experienced in supporting and maintaining enterprise-grade IP network environment. (2) Carrying Police-provided communication device to perform on-call support duties is required. (3) Work at irregular hours and on weekends/public holidays are required. (4) The candidate shall work at such locations in Hong Kong as deemed necessary by the Government Representative and as may be designated from time to time. On occasions, the candidate may be required to work at locations in Guangdong Province, including Shenzhen, on same day return journey as deemed necessary and as may be designated by the Government Representative. (5) Experiences and knowledge on remote access systems and VPN, multi-layered and complex LAN, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi system, Internet connection systems, network access control, MySQL, PHP, Ansible and Python or other programmer languages are advantageous. (6) Qualification of CISSP/HCNA/CCNA/CCNP certificate or other Cisco/H3C/Huawei certificate is required. (7) Security vetting is required. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . At least 2 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW); . At least 2 years' experience in Networking (NET); . At least 2 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN). Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in customer relations (ECR); . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
