(T26) Support the administration and contract management of the Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS) and facilitate government bureaux/departments (B/Ds) to adopt the services

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
This post is responsible for the administration and contract management of the GCIS contract
- Take part in the project management and contractor management for GCIS
- Monitor and manage the contractor's deliverables including quality, punctuality, etc.
- Coordinate and support B/Ds to adopt GCIS, including client liaison, preparation of house rules and guidelines
- Assist in the preparation of procurement, implementation, acceptance and management of new equipment and services for GCIS
- Take care of the information security of GCIS

| Requirements |
- Knowledge and experience in cloud computing technologies including server virtualisation using VMware vSphere and information security
- Solid experience in managing IT projects and contractor management
- Competent communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal techniques
- Strong analytical mind and problem solving techniques
- Experience in project management and acceptance of IT infrastructure project deliverables preferred
- Knowledge in government procurement procedures is an advantage
- Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);
. At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 2 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. 6 months' experience in Networking (NET) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in PRINCE (PRE) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in project management (PRM);
. At least 2 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT);
. Good written English is a must;
. 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
