Job Key No 39572 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 60005-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 22 Jun 2026 Contract Period 02 Jul 2026 to 03 Oct 2026 (3 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base North Point Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Implementation of Customs Big Data Application System (CBDAS) of C&ED Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the C&ED; - To support the implementation of CBDAS (i.e. conduct SA&D, prepare program specifications, conduct system test and user acceptance test, prepare documentation, and deploying applications and models); - To crawl websites with web crawler, extract text from documents with OCR tool, and perform full-text search and semantic search with High-Speed Searching Tool; - To build interactive charts and dashboards with Business Intelligence tool (BI tool), visualize graph-based data with graph tool, and perform model training and deployment; - To perform data analytics, including image analytics, video analytics, textual analytics, and transform audio to text with Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) tool; - To perform data migration with CBDAS; - To perform tasks related to Large Language Model (LLM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agent tools (e.g. workflow automation); - To perform tasks related to management and maintenance of GPU & NPU resources; - To perform technology research for CBDAS; and - To perform any tasks assigned by supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - At least 3 years working experience in application development with at least one year must be in similar post or in comparable capacity; - Experience in using web crawler to crawl websites, building interactive charts and dashboards with BI tool, and performing model training and deployment; - Experience in using OCR tool to extract text from documents, performing full-text search and semantic search with High-Speed Searching Tool, and visualizing graph-based data with graph tool is preferred; - Experience in performing data analytics, including image analytics, video analytics, textual analytics, and transforming audio to text with ASR tool is preferred; - Experience in LLM, RAG, and AI agent tools (e.g. workflow automation using Dify and n8n) is preferred; - Experience in management and maintenance of GPU & NPU resources is preferred; - Experience in Linux/Kylin systems is preferred; - Provides service outside office hours, e.g. 7/24 on-call production support; - Travelling to other C&ED offices and land boundary control points for system support may be required; - Integrity record check for the candidate is required and the candidate shall be requested to sign a consent during the recruitment interview; and - Shall comply with all government-wide and C&ED departmental circulars for staff administration and code of conduct. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 1 year's experience in business intelligence/data mining (BDM); . At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . 1 year's experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in SAS (SAS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Data Architecture (DAR) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Data Management (DMT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Data Warehouse (DWH) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Infrastructure (INF) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Good spoken English is a must; . Good written English is a must; . 1 year's experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
