Project Nature (T26) 1. Lead the implementation and integration of emerging technologies, including enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, local Large Language Models (LLMs), automated workflows to optimize internal government operations;
2. Oversee internal IT procurement, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring acquisitions meet government standards;
3. Coordinate infrastructure projects by managing external contractors and internal staff, ensuring technical implementations follow tender specifications and Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
4. Ensure IT infrastructure and new systems comply with government IT security policies, including risk assessments and vulnerability remediation.
Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD;
1. Manage the end-to-end government tendering process for IT infrastructure and software projects, including budget scoping, drafting technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals;
2. Liaise with external contractors and internal stakeholders to monitor project progress, enforce SLAs and ensure deliverables meet tender requirements;
3. Administer internal IT infrastructure, including virtual machines, container orchestration platforms (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift), Linux and Windows Server environments to ensure high availability;
4. Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise AI solutions, AI-driven automated workflows and other emerging technologies, providing infrastructure support for modern application deployments;
5. Ensure compliance with Government IT security policies across all infrastructure and applications;
6. Facilitate Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA) for internal systems and implement required security controls and remediation measures;
7. Liaise with the network team to enhance enterprise virtualization infrastructure and monitor data center facilities to ensure secure, highly resilient system operations and Data Centre relocation;
8. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, operation procedures, tender specifications and technical reports;
9. Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements 1. Degree or Higher diploma in computer subjects, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines;
2. Minimum 5 years of post-qualification IT experience or Engineering;
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, specifically focusing on IT infrastructure architectural design, implementation and advanced technical support or Information and Communication Technology (ICT) project implementation;
4. Hands-on experience in Government Tendering Procedures, IT procurement and vendor management;
5. Excellent written English, with the ability to draft complex technical documents and tender specifications;
6. Strong communication skills for effectively liaising with external contractors and internal technical teams;
7. Solid understanding of Government IT security standards, with practical experience applying IT security policies and supporting SRAA;
8. Knowledge implementing enterprise AI technologies, local LLM deployments and workflow automation tools and containerized environments, or advanced systems;
9. Hands-on experience managing server virtualization (e.g., VMware), Linux and Windows Server environments, or mission-critical systems;
10. Knowledge of enterprise networking (Routing, Switching, Wireless) and IT service management is preferred.
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS);
. 3 years' experience in Networking (NET) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in TCP/IP (TCP) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Technical Architectural Support (TAS) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 2 years' experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP);
. Excellent written English is a must;
. At least 2 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO);
. At least 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG);
. 2 years' experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in managing corporate IT security framework (CSF) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in contract administration (CON) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
