To manage and implement projects for enhancing the security, availability and performance of the EMSD departmental network (Mainly in floor network, network monitoring tools and wireless network); 2. To assist in operating and maintaining the user side network; Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; 1. To manage and implement network projects; 2. To diagnose, analyze, and resolve network problems and security vulnerabilities encountered during/after network implementation tasks; 3. To research and evaluate the latest products, tools, and practices to recommend cost-effective solutions; 4. To analyze and follow the related IT regulations, policies, and guidelines of HKSARG; 5. To prepare guidelines and procedures for the operation and maintenance tasks; 6. To provide technical consultation services; 7. To develop network-related programs to streamline the operation and maintenance process; 8. To manage the Contractors and liaise with different parties to achieve the goals of network projects. 9. To assist in the procurement processes of IT products and services; and 10. To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements 1. Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer subjects or related IT disciplines; 2. At least three (3) years&;#8217; post-qualification information technology experience of which one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; 3. At least two (2) years&;#8217; in network infrastructure/system support, operate and maintain, preferably with solid experience in enterprise network project design, implementation and manage, also the management of Contractor/Vendor; 4. Strong commitment to project deadline and deliver high quality of work; 5. Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsive and well-organized; 6. Possession of certifications of CCNP / CISSP / PMP / ITIL is preferable; and 7. Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in Networking (NET); . At least 3 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . At least 3 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU); . At least 3 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . At least 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN); . At least 3 years' experience in Wide Area Network (WAN); . At least 2 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . At least 2 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 2 years' experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS); . At least 2 years' experience in Authentication Server (AUS); . At least 1 year's experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC). Non-technical Skills: . At least 2.5 years' experience in customer service (CLS); . Good coordination skills is a must. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
