To support the planning, implementation, operation and optimization of high-performance AI data centers and GPU clusters; 2. To integrate and support AI-powered network management tools and analytics for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection and automated service optimization of EMSD departmental network services; 3. To design, plan and enhance network architecture to support AI workloads, including high-throughput, low-latency connectivity, traffic engineering and scalability within the EMSD departmental network; 4. To operate and maintain the commonly used network services, such as DNS, Web Proxy, Network Access Control, etc. 5. To assist in managing and implementing network projects for enhancing the security, availability and performance of the EMSD departmental network (Mainly in commonly used network services, such as Web Application Firewall, Load Balancer, DNS, Web Proxy, Network Access Control and Home VPN). Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; 1. To oversee AI cluster orchestration and job scheduling while manage, monitor and maintain AI data centers to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization; 2. To determine and optimize networking requirements for AI workloads; 3. To identify, evaluate and describe data center networking protocols and technologies suitable for AI environments and recommend appropriate solutions; 4. To design, implement and optimize high-performance network fabric architectures to support AI workloads, including east-west traffic flows and low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity; 5. To generate actionable insights through AI analytics dashboards for network security, availability and performance optimization; 6. To deploy, configure and maintain AI-powered network management and analytics tools; 7. To operate and maintain the network systems and services; 8. To diagnose, analyze, and resolve network problems and security vulnerabilities; 9. To research and evaluate the latest products, tools, and practices to recommend cost-effective solutions; 10. To analyze and follow the related IT regulations, policies, and guidelines of HKSARG; 11. To prepare guidelines and procedures for the operation and maintenance tasks; 12. To provide technical consultation services; 13. To develop network-related programs to streamline the operation and maintenance process; 14. To manage the Contractors and liaise with different parties to achieve the goals of network projects; 15. To co-operate with junior network engineers to support, operate and maintain the network infrastructure/system of EMSD including but not limited to: 15.1 Web Application Firewall system 15.2 Load Balancer system 15.3 Web Proxy system 15.4 Remote site connection system 15.5 Network Access Control system 15.6 DNS system 15.7 Home VPN system 15.8 Network monitoring system 15.9 Network Automation system 16. To lead teammates as required by supervisors for achieving the goals of specific projects/tasks; 17. To assist in the procurement processes of IT products and services; and 18. To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements 1. Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer subjects or related IT disciplines; 2. At least five (5) years&;#8217; post-qualification information technology experience of which two (2) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; 3. At least three (3) years&;#8217; in network infrastructure/system support, operate and maintain, preferably with solid experience in enterprise network project design, implementation and manage, also the management of Contractor/Vendor; 4. Strong commitment to project deadline and deliver high quality of work; 5. Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsive and well-organized; 6. Possession of certifications of CCNP / CISSP / ITIL is preferable; and 7. Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Technical Skills: . At least 5 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . At least 5 years' experience in Networking (NET); . At least 4 years' experience in Proxy Server (PRS); . At least 4 years' experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS); . At least 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN); . At least 3 years' experience in Wide Area Network (WAN); . At least 3 years' experience in Authentication Server (AUS); . At least 3 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU); . At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . At least 2 years' experience in Intrusion Prevention System (IPS); . At least 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS); . At least 2 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW); . At least 2 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 2 years' experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM). Non-technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 4 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . At least 4 years' experience in project management (PRM); . At least 4 years' experience in vendor management (VMG); . At least 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP); . At least 3 years' experience in customer service (CLS); . Good coordination skills is a must; . At least 2 years' experience in tender preparation and administration (TPA); . At least 1.5 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
