Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; (1) To conduct desktop researches on Smart City Initiatives including smart city rankings, city management research project, potential applications and updates on smart city development; (2) To provide support in preparing Smart City related documents, including but not limited to LegCo panel papers, line-to-take and Q&As for LegCo meetings, papers and presentation material for related meetings, as well as different types of ad-hoc reports as per management request; (3) To provide advisory support to Smart City Office and the relevant smart city projects/initiatives of other bureaux/departments; (4) To liaise with the Contractor and relevant parties to design, implement and test for enhancement and security risk assessment in the smart city portal; (5) To assist in liaison with various stakeholders relating to smart city initiatives; (6) To provide advisory support on e-commerce including electronic payment system applications etc; and (7) To provide administrative support in other ICT matters and perform other relevant tasks as assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements The candidate shall possess working experience in liaison and coordination, good command of English and Chinese, strong technical background and analytical capability, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and positive working attitude. It is preferred for the candidates to possess the following: i) Experience in working with other bureaux/departments of the Government. ii) Experience in Hong Kong ICT industry facilitation, liaison, promotion and support in the Hong Kong SAR Government, including but not limited to event / project support and research activities. iii) General understanding of the Smart City Blueprint for Hong Kong and Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Development Blueprint. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . At least 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS); . At least 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment (SRA); . At least 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 1 year's experience in XML (XML); . At least 6 months' experience in Data Architecture (DAR); . At least 6 months' experience in Data Modeling (DMO); . 2 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Planning (ITP) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Good coordination skills is a must; . Good written English is a must; . At least 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG); . 1 year's experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT in the community e.g. promote the use of IT/IT awareness (ITC) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
