(T26) Manage and supervise an internal project team and outsourced contractors to provide application support to the Property Tax (PT) System, Enterprise Printing System (EPS), application frameworks and other related taxation systems of the IRD

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the IRD;
- To manage and supervise project team with systems analysts and programmers, and outsourced contractors to provide technical support to the IRD;
- To lead the project team and outsourced contractors to perform various system development and maintenance support tasks for the PT, EPS, application framework and other related systems of the IRD;
- To lead the project team and outsourced contractors to implement various system enhancements including the corresponding changes for implementation of Minimum Top-up Tax; and
- To perform any other duties requested by supervisors.

| Requirements |
Candidates should:
- Have solid management experience in application development and maintenance;
- Have solid experience in systems analysis and design and application programming and frameworks for the development of web applications with Java, JavaScript and J2EE;
- Have solid experience in implementing and supporting crucial systems; and
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. At least 5 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB);
. At least 5 years' experience in XML (XML);
. At least 5 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF);
. At least 5 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
. At least 4 years' experience in DB2 (DB2);
. At least 2 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 5 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS);
. At least 5 years' experience in software testing (STM);
. At least 4 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
