Job Key No 39531 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 59925-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 16 Jun 2026 Contract Period 31 Jul 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (6 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Mainly Nam Cheong, Sham Shui Po, and occasional visit to other offices in Hong Kong Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Maintenance, operation and support of an in-house system - the system aims at enhancing the ability in tackling the increasing cyber security risks, utilising computing resources more optimally and increasing operational efficiency of the Government Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; - Assist the operation of annual DR Drill with service contractors - Take part in maintenance and support of the server infrastructure of a government internal email system, including Patch Management Solution, Anti-virus, DFS, Microsoft Windows Server platform, and Backup Solutions in multiple virtualisation environments of different brands - Take part in daily health check, inventory management and system patching activities - Update the patching procedures and COPM, aligning them with industry standards, frameworks and best practices - Assist the supervisor to manage the overall system availability and conduct project management tasks - Manage the physical appliances and equipment located in data centres - Follow up with respective stakeholders to solve the problems reported by clients proactively - Provide technical support for the project related matters - Assist in planning the system maintenance events and carry out system maintenance activities for on-going support of the system - Assist in assuring and controlling of the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors - Provide daily administrative support and produce reports and deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project - Monitor and report system usage and healthiness - Provide liaison and support to different stakeholders, and other B/Ds on the system - Work outside office hours and provide on-call production support - Perform any work assigned by supervisor Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification IT experience, in which includes a minimum of 1 year of working experience in system implementation and maintenance/support - Minimum of 2 years of working experience in administration of Infrastructure in multiple virtualisation environments of different brands and Microsoft Windows Server platform - Knowledge and experience in working with/in the Government is preferred - Good command in spoken and written English is required - Good command in spoken Mandarin is preferred - Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking and energetic - Criminal record checking is required Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows Server 2003 (WIS); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows NT Server Administration & Network Support (WNT); . At least 1 year's experience in Infrastructure (INF); . At least 1 year's experience in Information Security Management (ISM); . At least 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS); . At least 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM). Non-technical Skills: . Good spoken English is a must; . Good written English is a must; . At least 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG); . Good Putonghua is an advantage; . Good coordination skills is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
