(T26) On-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the PC LANs and Data Centre of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department (SWD)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD;
This officer will be responsible for providing the on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the CSSS-II which is a mission critical system. The duties include:
(1) To assist in setting up online meetings and related equipment for hosting video conferences in the TMS-CSSS office;
(2) To perform technical support for CSSS-II PC LANs, user workstations, and office equipment;
(3) To liaise with SWD counterparts and service contractors of the Government for ongoing maintenance and enhancement tasks related to PC LANs, user workstations, and office equipment;
(4) To assist in site preparation and network cabling connections for user offices and data centre relocation;
(5) Shall require to work in various user offices and data centre including Social Security Field Units and Centralised Units (within Hong Kong territories);
(6) To assist in routine maintenance tasks related to PC LANs, user workstations, and other office equipment;
(7) To provide support on preparation of the server/equipment inventory and cabling connections documentation for CSSS-II, for data centre relocation; and
(8) To provide support on verification of the cabling connections upon relocation of the servers/equipment, and verification test of the CSSS-II system.

| Requirements |
(1) Knowledge and/or experience in the control and operation of Microsoft Windows and Windows Server; and
(2) Experience in PC LAN support is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
. At least 1 year's experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10);
. At least 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS);
. At least 1 year's experience in site preparation (SPE).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 1 year's post-qualification experience.
