(T26) On-going Support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department (SWD)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD;
This officer will be required to provide the on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the technical infrastructure of the CSSS-II which is a mission critical system. The duties include:
(1) to monitor the performance of the CSSS-II server platform and system environments by the contractors;
(2) to prepare and conduct system testing and disaster recovery drill;
(3) to provide system administration and support for the CSSS-II technical infrastructure including capacity planning, performance tuning, security control, and backup/recovery;
(4) to coordinate with application development teams on the on-going support and testing of the CSSS-II system;
(5) to coordinate with different parties to support system integration with external system;
(6) to prepare administration and operation procedures for CSSS-II;
(7) to supervise Analyst Programmers to carry out their duties; and
(8) to perform on-call support duties.

| Requirements |
(1) The candidate must have solid experience in large-scale system infrastructure and high availability system configuration; and
(2) Experience in support of mission critical system environment is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in IBM AIX Administration (IAA);
. At least 2 years' experience in Multi-tier System Integration (MSI);
. At least 2 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
. At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 2 years' experience in Tivoli Storage Management (TSM).
Non-technical Skill:
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
