Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSD; The proposed staff shall be responsible for: 1. Coordinating with vendors, system maintenance teams and project teams to provide technical support services for Active Directory administration, file sharing services, office automation and desktop support, the e-Message platform for use by persons in custody and Digital Incarceration Proof System (DIPS); 2. Performing upgrade of hardware and software as appropriate for the IT infrastructure in pace with the technology updates and trends in respect of security, versioning and compatibility; 3. Providing on-site support services for the deployment and maintenance requests of IT equipment; and 4. Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements (a) The proposed staff must have working experience in:- - implementation and support of Windows servers, virtual server infrastructure, file sharing services, office automation and desktop support; - upgrade of hardware and software as appropriate for the IT infrastructure; (b) Knowledge in Oracle RDBMS and SQL; (c) Allowed by the laws of HKSARG to have any forms of work in Hong Kong; (d) Good communication and skills, such as read and write Traditional Chinese and English, as well as communicate in fluent Cantonese and good English; (e) Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast-learning and good team player; (f) Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required; (g) Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); . At least 1 year's experience in Infrastructure (INF); . At least 1 year's experience in Office Automation (OAN); . At least 1 year's experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB); . At least 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . At least 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 1 year's experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12). Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 1 year's experience in quality assurance (QAS); . 1 year's experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
