(T26) To provide technical support to various Government Office Automation (GOA) and IT infrastructure systems of the Correctional Services Department (CSD) and to implement IT security related initiatives and projects of technology refreshment. In addition, to participate in the planning of relocation of new headquarters projects of the CSD.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSD;
The proposed staff shall take a leading role of managing and facilitating the implementation and maintenance tasks. These include, but not limited to, the followings:
(a) Provide technical support services for general IT infrastructure systems and GOA systems of CSD;
(b) Lead the implementation of IT security related initiatives and projects of technology refreshment;
(c) Ensure compliance of relevant IT security regulations, policies and guidelines of information systems;
(d) Undertake day-to-day management of external service providers;
(e) Handle procurement of hardware, software and services;
(f) Assist in planning the relocation of new Headquarters projects of CSD;
(g) Provide technical advice to management and users as appropriate;
(h) Carry out any other duties as assigned by Systems Manager.

| Requirements |
(a) The proposed staff must have solid working experience and knowledge in:-
1. Windows Server and virtualized server environment;
2. Technical support and technology refreshment of general IT infrastructure facilities such as system monitoring, server load balancer, privileged access management and endpoint detection and response;
3. Government IT security policies including the Baseline IT Security Policy and IT Security Guidelines;
4. Procurement of hardware, software and services for the Government
(b) Possess good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese and English;
(c) Work outside normal office hours to provide on-call production support and maintenance services when required;
(d) Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services when required;
(e) Undergoing integrity check by Hong Kong Police Force is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 3 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);
. At least 3 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
. At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. 2 years' experience in Office Automation (OAN) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Data Encryption Technology (DET) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 3 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS);
. At least 3 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO);
. At least 3 years' experience in vendor management (VMG);
. 2 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
