Job Key No 39451 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 59334-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 09 Jun 2026 Contract Period 02 Jul 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (6 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Trade and Industry Tower in San Po Kong Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Development of Construction Information Management Portal Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HyD; - To design, develop, deploy, implement, and maintain intranet/internet websites, services, and applications, including BIM, GIS, geospatial database applications, container-based development, and microservices development.; - To provide technical advice and assist in the implementation of IT/GIS projects, including but not limited to internet-based services, intranet-based services, BIM and GIS applications, and web applications; - To process, analyse, spatially index, and visualise data acquired from textual/printed documents, BIM data, and other spatial data such as LiDAR data, panoramic imagery, oriented imagery, and relevant data available from the CSDI Portal and data.gov.hk; - To visualize system data, BIM data, and geospatial data using various dashboard frameworks; - To study the office's internal working systems and define technical requirements for system architecture to guide service providers in system design and implementation; - To realize and implement construction digitalisation by transforming the conventional paper-based contract administration and site supervision into digital operations; - To quality control for systems developed by service providers/in-house resources and enforce best coding practices throughout the development process; - To perform system administration and network configuration for IT/GIS project systems; - To prepare and compile system/project documentation; and - To perform other BIM, GIS, construction digitisation or IT-related duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 10.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 6.0 Requirements - Holder of degree awarded by a university in Hong Kong or a degree awarded by an overseas education institution to a Hong Kong resident, or equivalent; - The degree shall be related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Information Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent; - Have at least 10 years' post qualification experience in which at least 6 years' relevant experience in IT, GIS applications development with direct focus on developing and implementing intranet/internet solutions, web applications, or geospatial database. - Have at least 6 years practical working experience of the following areas: C++, python, web programming, container-based development, GIS programming, CUDA; - Knowledge on NodeJS Framework, such as ExpressJS, ReactJS; - Knowledge on BIM/GIS techniques, such as map projections, coordinate systems, OGC standards, BIM data processing, point cloud data processing, EO and IO of panoramic imagery and oriented imagery; - Experience in using MapStore and GeoServe; - Experience in using Nodejs, Go Lang, GDAL, PDAL, LASTools, PDAL, GDAL, PCL, JAVA programming, Docker appliances, Git, Potree is preferred; - Possess analytical sense, problem solving skills and a good team player; - Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English; - Experience on construction digitalisation would be an advantage. Technical Skills: . At least 5 years' experience in Client/Server Application Development (C/S); . At least 5 years' experience in SQL*PLUS/PL/SQL/PRO*C (OPL); . At least 5 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 5 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 4 years' experience in Geographic Information System (GIS); . 4 years' experience in Apache Web Server (AWS) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in XML (XML) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 6 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
