Job Key No 39443 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 59951-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 05 Jun 2026 Contract Period 02 Jul 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (6 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base West Kowloon Government Offices (Yau Tsim Mong) Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Implementation and support systems include: 1) Design user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for mobile and web application development; 2) Research and development on new mobile and web applications serving for proof of concept purpose; and 3) Creation of poster and presentation materials with graphic design, visual effects and multimedia features Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the TD; 1) Support on implementation of TD mobile apps enhancements; 2) Support to analyse app usage and user activity statistics; 3) Create visual elements of webpage layout, mobile and web applications, such as icon, buttons, visual effect of functions; 4) Prepare UI / UX graphic design for operation and enhancement of TD websites and mobile apps; 5) Responsible for enhancing usability and user satisfaction of TD mobile and web applications; 6) Responsible for continuous improvements in the accessibility of website and mobile application to satisfy user requirements and based on findings from the accessibility compliance audit; 7) Prepare presentation and promotional materials including but not limited to demonstration on mobile application and website, graphical design on poster, slides with visual effect, demonstration video and animation on Powerpoint; and 8) Perform other duties assigned by SE/IT or his delegates. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements 1) Shortlisted candidates are required to present a portfolio of relevant previous work at the interview. 2) Holder of a Hong Kong university degree in interaction / multimedia design, web / app design, human-computer interaction, information design, computer science, software engineering or other related disciplines, or equivalent. 3) Experience on web and mobile application development & project coordination; 4) Experience in participating in UI and UX design for web and/or mobile applications development cycle. 5) Hands-on skills using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, Figma or similar for graphical design, UI design, animation / motion and prototyping. Experience with Adobe After Effects or other motion / interaction tools is an advantage. 6) Familiarity with the end-to-end design cycle, including user research support, user journeys and flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, design specifications and collaboration with developers. 7) Strong sense of visual storytelling and information design, and ability to transform complex information (e.g. transport or public-service content) into clear, engaging user interfaces. 8) Experience in designing accessible and inclusive interfaces. Experience in complying with the accessibility standards required by the Digital Policy Office's "Baseline Accessibility Criteria for Government Mobile App"; will be an advantage. 9) Knowledge of Swift / SwiftUI, Kotlin, Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, HTML5 or other programming languages for web and mobile application development will be an advantage. 10) Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support design, prototyping or user research will be an advantage. 11) Good communication and interpersonal skills. 12) Good command of written Chinese and English. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in Client/Server Application Development (C/S); . At least 3 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 3 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 3 years' experience in Multimedia (MUL); . At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . 2 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Adobe Illustrator (ADI) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Adobe Photoshop (APH) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Experience in C# programming (C#P) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . Good coordination skills is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
