It includes tasks such as project management collaboration, overseeing outsourced contractors, continuous system maintenance, application support, data conversion, procurement of services, hardware and software, as well as involvement in various levels of testing including system, integration, user acceptance, and load testing. Additionally, the project includes the preparation of detailed test specifications and system documentation. The role also requires flexibility and readiness to tackle a variety of additional tasks as directed by the supervisor to support project success. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SBU; The appointed staff member is required to work in the following areas, - Assist supervisor in project management and managing outsourced contractors - Provide on-going maintenance and application support for multi-tier web-based system - Conduct data conversion and migration in the testing environment and production environment - Perform services, hardware and software procurements - Assist the conduction of various level of testing, including system test, integration test, user acceptance testing and load test etc. - Prepare test specifications and system documentation - Other duties as assigned by supervisor Types of IT systems included, but not limited to, in-house AMS web application systems, Departmental Portal, e-Leave System, Windows Systems, Email Systems, Workstation Encryption System, Web Proxy System, Virtualization Systems, SSL-VPN and other GOA System Applications. Types of projects include, but not limited to, Website Revamp, Network/LAN Systems Upgrade, Mail Systems Upgrade, Workstations Upgrade, Operating System Upgrade, Application System Implementation, IT Security Risk Assessment & Audit, etc. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Experience in Government systems including iAMSmart project implementation is an advantage; - At least 1 year of experience managing projects with GCIS/EGIS; - Experience in project management, implementation, coordination and procurement process; - Familiar with Government regulations and procedures, such as Security Regulations, Store & Procurement Regulations, SOA Bulk Contracts, etc; and - Holder of related professional qualifications, e.g. PMP/PRINCE2 is an advantage. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS); . At least 3 years' experience in SSADM (SDM); . At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SRS); . At least 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI); . 3 years' experience in Data Administration (DAM) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Red Hat Advanced Server (RHS) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 3 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD); . At least 3 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . At least 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP); . At least 3 years' experience in vendor management (VMG); . 3 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
