(T26) On-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department (SWD)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD;
This officer will be responsible for providing the on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the CSSS-II which is a mission critical system. The duties include:
(1) To perform technical support for CSSS-II PC LANs, user workstations, and office equipment;
(2) To liaise with SWD counterparts and service contractors of the Government for ongoing maintenance and enhancement tasks related to PC LANs, user workstations, and office equipment;
(3) To provide support on site preparation and network cabling connections for user offices and data centre relocation;
(4) Shall require to work in various user offices and data centre including Social Security Field Units and Centralised Units (within Hong Kong territories);
(5) To provide support on maintaining the server/equipment inventory and cabling connections documentation for CSSS-II;
(6) To perform problem diagnosis, program fixing and testing for various CSSS-II software components including system code and data model;
(7) To assist in producing project documents;
(8) To provide technical support for large scale software and Windows upgrade; and
(9) To perform on call support duties.

| Requirements |
(1) Knowledge and/or experience in the control and operation of Microsoft Windows and Windows Server;
(2) Experience in PC LAN support is required; and
(3) Work experience with/in the government is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
. At least 2 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10);
. At least 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12);
. 6 months' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in site preparation (SPE);
. At least 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS);
. At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
