(T26) On-going Support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD;
This officer will be required to provide the on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of CSSS-II which is a mission critical system; and implementation and on-going support to the supporting subsystems of CSSS-II system. The duties include:
(1) to monitor the performance of the server platform and system environments of the CSSS-II system and the supporting subsystems of CSSS-II system;
(2) to deploy programs and change system configurations across different system environments;
(3) to do programming and testing of the supporting subsystems of CSSS-II;
(4) to coordinate with CSSS-II application development teams on the on-going support and testing of the CSSS-II; and
(5) to perform on-call support duties.

| Requirements |
(1) The candidate must have:
- solid experience in the implementation of server infrastructure for large-scale system using enterprise-grade Linux; and
- solid experience in Java, JavaScript and Shell Script programming
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF);
. At least 2 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
. At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 1 year's experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS);
. At least 1 year's experience in Web Services (WSV);
. 1 year's experience in Electronic Form (EFM) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Function Point Analysis (FPA) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skill:
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
