(T26) On-going Support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD;
The staff will be required to provide the on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the technical infrastructure of the CSSS-II which is a mission critical system. The duties include:
(1) to coordinate with application development teams on the on-going support and testing of the CSSS-II system;
(2) to monitor the performance of the CSSS-II server platform and system environments on hypervisor and networking;
(3) to provide system administration, monitoring and support for the CSSS-II system environments on hypervisor and networking;
(4) to prepare and conduct system testing and disaster recovery drill;
(5) to prepare administration and operation procedures for CSSS-II;
(6) to supervise Analyst Programmers to carry out their duties; and
(7) to perform on-call support duties.

| Requirements |
(1) The candidate must have:
- solid experience in the implementation of server virtualisation infrastructure for large-scale system;
- solid experience in enterprise-grade Linux server;
- experience in large-scale system infrastructure and high availability system configuration; and
- experience in network firewall and switch configuration.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO);
. At least 3 years' experience in Networking (NET);
. At least 3 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
. At least 3 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN);
. At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 3 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 2 years' experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP);
. 3 years' experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in Multi-tier System Integration (MSI) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 3 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
