(T26) On-going support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD;
This officer will be required to provide on-going support for the maintenance and enhancements of the CSSS-II which is a mission critical system. The duties include:
(1) To participate in the procurement of computer equipment and services;
(2) To monitor the performance of the CSSS-II server platform and system environments by the contractors;
(3) To coordinate with application development teams on the on-going support and testing of the CSSS-II system;
(4) To coordinate with different parties to support system integration with external systems;
(5) To assure the quality of project deliverables; and
(6) To supervise Systems Analysts / Analyst Programmers to carry out their duties.

| Requirements |
(1) The candidate must have:
- solid experience in system implementation;
- solid experience in contractor management;
- solid experience in large-scale system infrastructure; and
- solid experience in high availability system configuration.
(2) Experience in the procurement of IT products/services is required.
(3) Experience in the support of mission critical system environments is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS);
. At least 3 years' experience in Multi-tier System Integration (MSI);
. At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI);
. 3 years' experience in IT Planning (ITP) is an advantage;
. 1.5 years' experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skill:
. At least 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
