(T26) On-going support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD;
This officer will be required to provide on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the CSSS-II which is a mission critical system. The duties include:
(1) To plan and manage the activities for on-going support and system enhancements for various social security schemes including TAVA and CLEIC;
(2) To produce project documents;
(3) To assure the quality of project deliverables;
(4) To supervise team members of Analyst/Programmer grade and T-Contract staff to carry out their duties; and
(5) To perform on call support duty.

| Requirements |
(1) Experience in project management of large scale system implementation and maintenance;
(2) Experience in PRINCE and SSADM methodologies;
(3) Experience/knowledge in application systems using J2EE and DB2;
(4) Preferred experience in software testing management; and
(5) Preferred experience in handling projects in the business area of social welfare.
Technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in DB2 (DB2);
. At least 4 years' experience in SSADM (SDM);
. At least 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
. At least 2 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 2 years' experience in Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMP);
. At least 2 years' experience in PRINCE (PRE).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP);
. At least 2 years' experience in project management (PRM);
. At least 2 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS);
. 3 years' experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
