To supervise the centralized Helpdesk Team in performing front line support to all Users in EEB(EB) and EPD. 2. To assist project team in implementing enhancement projects in IT services. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the EPD; 1. To supervise, co-ordinate and monitor the EPD centralized Helpdesk Team in providing daily support and troubleshooting on all technical problems from all users' devices such as PCs, notebooks, printers, scanners, video conferencing etc.; 2. To assist project team in implementing enhancement projects in IT services such as storage encryption, network access control, confidential email service, anti-virus software, endpoint solutions, email system migration and etc.; 3. To maintain the email systems including daily health check, system backup, data recovery, etc.; 4. To prepare IT equipment for senior management users such as presentation, video conferencing and etc.; 5. To source, evaluate and recommend new technology or equipment for enhance the security, reliability and availability of the IT services; 6. To administer and monitor servers and network performance at EPD's office to ensure the network is running in a stable and secure status; 7. To interact and follow up with the vendors for maintenance including repair faulty IT equipment, update necessary security patches, upgrade equipment's operation system, etc.; 8. To maintain records and documentation for management of IT services; 9. To manage the active directory and centralized storage device for provision of IT support to the daily operations of Users; and 10. To carry out any other duties as assigned by the senior officers. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements 1. Higher Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or Higher (or equivalent) 2. Recent IT working experience in Government Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); . At least 4 years' experience in Confidential Mail System (CMS); . At least 4 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . 4 years' experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT) is an advantage; . 4 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 3 years' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
