Project Nature (T26) Facility Management support services in server rooms of Judiciary buildings
Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the Judiciary;
The Judiciary has more than 2,600 PCs and servers, on Unix, Linux and MS Windows, spinning over 15 buildings and being accessed by 50 Government departments. In order to provide a quality service to both Judiciary users and other parties, a stable and secure IT network and infrastructure performance are required.

The Judiciary has implemented more than 50 information systems to support the daily operations. These information systems cover in-house applications for different court levels, office automation utilities such as e-mail, Internet access, websites as well as government wide applications.

Some IT equipments are hosted in server rooms of each court buildings and provide stable and secure IT services to user. To keep the high quality of IT services, efficient and effective facility management of server rooms in each court buildings is indispenable.

The successful candidate is required to:
1) Perform onsite observation and assist EMSD/ vendor to solve the facilities incident in server rooms of court buildings.
2) Contact user/ security guard and receive user/ security guard's call for the enquiry about facilities matters of server rooms.
3) To analysis the affection of IT equipments during preventive maintenance of facility management in server rooms and onsite support if necessary.
4) Onsite monitor the improvement works of facility management in server rooms.
5) Keep access control of server rooms and update user/ security guard with approved server room access list.

Requirements The successful candidate is required to receive the calls from user/ Security guard and onsite Server Rooms of each court buildings outside the office hours, if needed.

At least one year working experience in facility managemnet or site preparation of server room. It is highly desirable that the candidate has practical experience in the facility management. Successful candidate will be required to work at West Kowloon Law Courts Building, High Courts Building and Eastern Law Courts Building intermittently subject to operational need.

The candidate may also be required to perform Computer Operation, system support, data conversion and development on the website application.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in Experience in Datacentre Maintenance (DCM);
. 1 year's experience in Infrastructure (INF) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Office Automation (OAN) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in System Backup Operation (BKO) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. Good written English is a must;
. 1 year's experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage;
. Good coordination skills is an advantage;
. Good spoken English is an advantage.
- At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent;
- At least 2 years'relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
