Job Key No 39296 Job Title/ Category Contract Senior Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 59806-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 26 May 2026 Contract Period 10 Jun 2026 to 30 Sep 2026 (3 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base mainly in Wan Chai Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Provision of IT System and Technical Support to End Users Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DH; - Act as senior technical and functional lead for one or more major modules/areas across multiple development iterations; - Conduct high-level system/interface analysis for assigned areas, including impacts to data, APIs, and UI workflows; - Conduct complex change analysis and translate requirements into end-to-end implementation plans including functional scope, acceptance criteria, and delivery sequencing; - Perform coding for complex functions across backend and frontend for modules where higher complexity exists; - Design and implement database and data flow changes for complex scenarios including data integrity and performance considerations; - Ensure integration consistency and coordinate interface changes among modules and team members; - Lead UAT readiness by ensuring requirements interpretation, test guidance, and documentation are clear to end-users; - Manage and drive resolution of requirement changes and UAT findings by proposing implementation options and coordinating decisions for next development iterations; - Mentor System Analysts and Analyst Programmers on analysis/design quality, coding standards, and delivery practices; - Work with user representatives to identify functions which can facilitate end user operations and improve clinical service; - Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor; - The normal working hours (Mon, 9:00 - 18:00, Tue - Fri, 9:00 - 17:45); and - Occasionally work at irregular hours may be required. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 7.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements i) Degree holder or above in Computer Sciences / Information Technology or related discipline; ii) Minimum 7 years post-qualification information technology experience in which at least 2 years in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; iii) Strong experience in supporting end-to-end Agile delivery iv) Advanced proficiency in coding and delivery including Java Spring Boot and React v) Advanced understanding of SQL databases (MariaDB), including data modeling, query optimization basics, and complex data handling scenarios vi) Working knowledge of Object Storage or other storage types is an advantage vii) Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum iteration delivery and ability to handle changing requirements in short development iterations; viii) Experience with containerized platforms and deployment concepts (e.g., OpenShift) is an advantage ix) Experience with government standards and processes would be advantage; x) Excellent spoken and written level in both English and Chinese languages; and xi) Capable of working independently, handling ambiguity and leading under pressure. Technical Skills: . At least 6 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF); . At least 6 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 6 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 4 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 2 years' experience in Rapid Application Development Methodology (RAD); . 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in project management (PRM); . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 7 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
