(T26) Support the expansion of the Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
This post is responsible for the project and contractor management of the GCIS contract. The job duties include:
- Take part in the project management and contractor management for GCIS
- Support GCIS operation and assist in the capacity planning and expansion of GCIS
- Support the implementation of GCIS expansion and acceptance of the deliverables of the GCIS contractor including but not limited to server hardware, system software, security sub-systems, etc.
- Provide support in the day to day project administration and contract administration of GCIS
- Prepare technical specification for equipment such as server, security device and related system software
- Plan, site visit and escort for equipment installation

| Requirements |
- Knowledge and experience in implementing cloud computing technologies including server virtualisation
- Knowledge and experience in supporting SAN, server, operating system and security devices
- Knowledge and experience in implementing centralised system monitoring system, and/or centralised log management and analytics is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in writing technical specification for tenders
- Strong analytical mind and problem solving techniques
- Competent communication skills (both of verbal and writing) and interpersonal techniques
- Experience in contract administration
- May need to work in various data centres of the GCIS project during the testing and acceptance period
- Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 2 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);
. At least 2 years' experience in Networking (NET);
. At least 1 year's experience in Storage Area Network (SAN).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in contract administration (CON);
. At least 2 years' experience in site preparation (SPE);
. At least 2 years' experience in tender preparation and administration (TPA);
. At least 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG);
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
