(T26) Support the capacity and expansion planning of the Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
This post is responsible for the project and contractor management of the GCIS contract
- Take part in the project management and contractor management for GCIS
- Collaborate with technical teams to support GCIS operation and assist in the capacity planning and expansion of GCIS
- Monitor and manage the contractor's deliverables including quality, punctuality, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement, implementation, acceptance and management of new equipment and services for GCIS
- Manage the hardware and software inventory of GCIS

| Requirements |
- Knowledge and experience in cloud computing technologies including server virtualisation using VMware vSphere, security, etc.
- Solid experience in managing IT projects, contractor management, capacity planning and inventory management of equipment in data center
- Competent communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal techniques
- Experience in project management and acceptance of IT infrastructure project deliverables preferred
- Hands-on experience in advanced security devices including firewall, anti-DDoS, etc. will be an advantage
- Strong analytical mind and problem solving techniques
- Knowledge in government procurement procedures
- Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 4 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);
. At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 2 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN);
. At least 2 years' experience in IT Operational Management (OPM);
. 6 months' experience in PRINCE (PRE) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Networking (NET) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in project management (PRM);
. At least 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD);
. At least 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP);
. Good written English is a must;
. At least 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT);
. 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
