He/she will be under the supervision of a manager and the lead of a system analyst in carrying out his/her duty, which is mainly related to supporting of GIS application systems and new GIS development projects. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the PlanD; The job duties include, but not limited to the following activities : - Provide end user support in the use of GIS software and various GIS application systems; - Provide system support on various GIS application systems to ensure their smooth operation; - Conduct administrative and operational tasks, problem analysis and troubleshooting, programming, testing and deployment for various GIS application systems; - Participate in SA&D and implementation of new GIS development projects; and - Project, vendor and contractor monitoring, e.g. PlanD Imagery Hub and PlanD Cloud Platform - Quality assurance and review Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements 1. University/College graduate in Geo-informatics/Computer Science or relevant disciplines; 2. At least 2 year experience in JavaScript and ASP.NET program development; 3. At least 1 years application development experience using ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop and ArcSDE; 4. At least 1 year experience in SQL Server and Oracle database administration; 5. Working experience gained in the town planning or development-related fields is an advantage; 6. Knowledge of structured programming skills and system development methodology are advantages; 7. Programming experience includes application development, quality assurance, system maintenance, system testing, user support and documentation; 8. Good IT professional knowledge and ethics; initiative, proactive, systematic and independent at work; customer and quality focus; good problem analysis skills; good communication and interpersonal skills; and good command in Chinese and English (verbal and written). Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 2 years' experience in MS ASP.NET (MSA); . 1 year's experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in ArcSDE (SDE) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in ARC/INFO (ARC) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
