(T26) In line with ICAO's requirements for simulator training in Air Traffic Control Officers' initial rating and refresher training, system operators are responsible for preparing and delivering simulations that allow controllers to practice routine operations, abnormal situations, and emergency scenarios in preparation for on-the-job training (OJT). To support major upcoming projects such as the implementation of independent parallel approaches, the restructuring of airspace, and the migration to a new radar system, additional manpower with an IT background is required to strengthen training delivery and ensure the ongoing development of the simulator.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CAD;
1. Operate the pseudo-pilot workstations of the ATC Surveillance Simulators and Control Tower Simulators. 2. Managing Arrival Manager (AMAN) and Voice Communication Switching System (VCSS). 3. Assist in maintaining existing databases related to simulator exercises. 4. Develop and update simulator exercises. 5. Update teaching materials and conduct on-the-job training for pseudo-pilot trainees. 6. Perform various other functions in support of training courses conducted by the Training Unit (TU) of the Air Traffic Management Division of CAD. 7. Work primarily during normal office hours, but may be required to work in irregular hours when necessary.

| Requirements |
(a) Degree holder in any discipline; (b) Have Level 4 or above in English Language in HKDSEE, or equivalent; (c) Good command of spoken English; (d) Be willing to learn aviation standard phraseology; (e) Possess aviation knowledge and experience in managing pseudo-pilot workstation will be an advantage; (f) Applicants may be required to attend an aptitude and listening test and an interview.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in Data Administration (DAM);
. 1 year's experience in Data Architecture (DAR) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Document Management System (DMS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Data Management (DMT) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Data Warehouse (DWH) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. Excellent spoken English is a must;
. 1 year's experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT marketing and promotion (MAR) is an advantage;
. Good written English is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in presentation (PEX) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in presentation (PRT) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in shift work (SFT) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage;
. Good coordination skills is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in customer relations (ECR) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in event management (EMG) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
