This center will also acting as the focal point for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security-related events and threats. Besides, the SOC team will actively monitor a comprehensive security platform and delivers incident response services that include verifying incident alerts, conducting thorough analyses, managing threat intelligence, and configuring and optimizing detection rules. This cohesive approach ensures a robust defense against cyber threats and an effective response mechanism whenever incidents arise. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF; 1. Monitor EDR systems and execute scripts to support specific security operations duties. 2. Assist in managing the implementation of EDR, NDR, and other security tools. 3. Perform initial triage of security alerts and escalate confirmed incidents. 4. Manage and optimize private cloud infrastructure. 5. Assist to conduct procurement process for maintaining the operation of SOC. 6. Carry out other duties as assigned by the team supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements 1. A minimum of six years of work experience in the cybersecurity industry is required. 2. Strong background in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Monitoring , and Incident Response. 3. Experience with using Information Technology Application Innovation(ITAI) SIEM, EDR, NDR is a must. 4. Prefererence will be given to candidates who are holders of the following certficiates or equivalent: - Project Management Professional (PMP) Security vetting is required. Technical Skills: . At least 5 years' experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS); . At least 5 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW); . At least 5 years' experience in Intrusion Prevention System (IPS); . At least 5 years' experience in Information Security Management (ISM); . At least 5 years' experience in IT Security (ITS); . At least 5 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 5 years' experience in Network Design (NDN); . At least 5 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 5 years' experience in Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMP); . At least 5 years' experience in Security Incident Detection and Handling (SDH); . At least 5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 5 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 5 years' experience in IT Security Scanning Tools (SST). Non-technical Skills: . At least 5 years' experience in customer service (CLS); . At least 5 years' experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT); . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 3 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
