(T26) The Immigration Department implemented the API System in September 2024 with an aim to meeting the requirement of the International Civil Aviation Organization and further enhancing our passenger clearance and enforcement capabilities to prevent undesirables, including potential non-refoulement claimants, from boarding flights heading to Hong Kong. In order to improve the resilience of the command centre, alongside the Primary Command Centre, Secondary Command Centre (SCC) is going to set up at the Midfield of the HKIA in Q4 2026 tentatively. Besides, there would be several new system initiatives and enhancements under API System including, implementation of CMMP, EDR, MFA, etc. in FY 2026/27.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ImmD;
1. To assist in application deployments to API System arising from interfacing or system configuration changes.
2. To perform user acceptance tests, regression tests and verification tests for API System after any system changes.
3. To monitor system health of APIS.
4. To assist in any urgent fix to the APIS incurred from system changes.
5. To conduct site visit and preparation works for the set-up of SCC at the HKIA.
6. To assist in stock-taking and maintaining inventory record for system equipment.
7. To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers.

| Requirements |
1. Normally, the candidate will be required to work from Monday to Friday. The candidate may be required to perform work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
2. The candidate will normally work in Tseung Kwan O and may be required to perform on-site duty at different locations in Hong Kong, e.g. HKIA.
3. Criminal record check will be required before acceptance.
Technical Skill:
. At least 2 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10).
- At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent;
- At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
