Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DSD; 1. Manage and provide support for various Microsoft Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows Server 2022/2019/2016, including functional roles such as AD, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, etc. Additionally, maintain and update Group Policies, monitor server utilization, tune performance, and apply measures to enhance security, stability and performance. 2. Administer and support enterprise backup systems such as Veeam and Veritas, by formulating and establishing backup policies, advising and preparing backup plans for different IT systems, reviewing and following up issues to ensure complete data backup, and performing regular backup recovery and disaster recovery drills. 3. Act as an IT Security Administrators for selected IT systems, including conduct security assessments, test and apply security patches, maintain control and access to IT systems, and review audit logs. 4. Manage and provide support for server virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure systems such as VMware Horizon, and SAN/NAS storage systems such as Dell and HP. 5. Manage and support security token authentication systems, such as Symantec VIP Access. 6. Manage and support departmental portals such as New OSDP. 7. Manage and support user identity management systems such as IBM Security Identity Manager. 8. Supervise and monitor the progress and outcomes of IT infrastructure related projects. 9. Provide technical support services for various IT systems and infrastructure, either on-site, via email or phone. 10. Evaluate and select appropriate products as assigned. 11. Collaborate and coordinate with users, contractors, and other government departments to provide quality IT services. 12. Prepare system documentation, including system architecture and design specifications, installation and configuration manuals, administration and operation manuals. 13. Oversee the upcoming new data center project, which will consolidate multiple server rooms into a centralized data center. 14. Oversee the upcoming virtualization platform upgrade project, which will implement Hyper-Converged Infrastructure. 15. Perform other administrative tasks and support activities as requested. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 8.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements 1. University Degree in Information Technology or equivalent issued by a Government recognised education institute; 2. MCSE, MCITP Enterprise administrator or equivalent certification is preferable; 3. Proficiency in both spoken and written Cantonese and English. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); . At least 4 years' experience in Data Encryption Technology (DET); . At least 4 years' experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI); . At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 2 years' experience in Data/File Backup Technology (DFT); . 2 years' experience in Departmental Portal (DPS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT Security Scanning Tools (SST) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
