Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Pilot Development and Implementation of an Automatic Small Unmanned Aircraft (SUA) Operations Management System in Lands Department. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LandsD; - To assist supervisors in designing and implementing the SUA operations management system for survey, mapping, and land-administration purposes; - To support IT procurements and administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, documentation preparation, contract administration, vendor management, and quality assurance; - To assist supervisors in conducting technical studies and in the design and implementation of IT applications for the SUA operations management system (e.g., change detection and image recognition using AI); - To assist supervisors in applying land-survey and GIS technologies (e.g., GNSS, GIS analysis tool) for data collection and analysis, and to integrate collected data into GIS systems for mapping, visualization, and spatial analysis; - To engage with Government Bureaux/Departments and other stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements and to design appropriate technical solutions; - To conduct program testing, system testing, and user-acceptance testing; - To assist supervisors with quality assurance, data verification, and application rectification, providing technical expertise in GIS applications for projects; and - To perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 2.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Holder of a degree awarded by a university in Hong Kong or a degree awarded by an overseas education institution to a Hong Kong resident, or equivalent; - The candidate should have a degree in a field related to Geo-informatics, Geomatics Engineering, Geographic Information Science, Computer Science, Information Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalent; - At least 2 years post qualification with at least 1 year in a comparable capacity; - At least 2 years of relevant experience, including in GIS or land surveying; - Demonstrated hands-on expertise in GIS and photogrammetry applications like ArcGIS Pro, Pix4D; - Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Small Unmanned Aircraft (SUA) systems is advantageous; - Possess a strong sense of analytical and problem-solving skills, and exhibit strong teamwork abilities; and - Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in ARC/INFO (ARC); . At least 2 years' experience in Geographic Information System (GIS); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10). Non-technical Skills: . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in presentation (PRT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
