In addition to improve the manual operation task into a highly efficiency and automated infrastructure ecosystem (using on-premises / Hybrid private cloud / multi-cloud) that enforce consistency for deployment and managing the infrastructure platform. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time seconded to a leading bank; - Participate in evaluation of products, services and vendors; - Ensure H/W, S/W, Cloud infrastructure technologies are being evaluated to improve infrastructure operation; - Advise critical emerging application or infrastructure technologies; - Develop infrastructure technology platform strategies, directions & roadmap to meet capability & capacity requirements for business operation & growth through benchmarking & adoption of best practices; - Support Infrastructure teams to define architecture standards & strategies based on Infrastructure vision, industrial standards & best practices to enable manageable, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure environment; - Conduct architecture reviews, approval and root cause analysis for complex issues and develop strategies for security baseline, governance, resilience, disaster recovery in seamless on-premises and cloud environments; - Support infrastructure teams to analyze, recommend & support platform technology issues; - Utilize Machine Learning (ML) / Gen AI / AI Agent-assisted the platform operation; - Review & validate infrastructure solutions for complex or non-standard configurations proposed by project teams; - Carry out Infrastructure related task in accordance with IT support strategy for Overseas Branches; - Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; - Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 12.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 12.0 Requirements - University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent; - Preferable over 12 years’ working experience in IT covering the following: . Solid experience in infrastructure and cloud architecture within a Hong Kong Financial Institution; . Knowledge of Microservices (i.e. OpenShift, K8S, EKS or GKE), storage, databases and network WAN/LAN design architecture; . Broad range of knowledge in Infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to Cloud Platforms (Private Cloud / Azure / AWS/ Google/ Alibaba Cloud), Server, Network, storage, Endpoint, Database, Middleware, and Virtualization or application development tool/process; . Excellent collaboration skills; . Excellent analytical and technical skills; . Certification holder of CISSP or CISA will be an advantage .
