Ensuring the deskside and endpoint related projects are delivered on time & relevant controls are performed accurately & properly according to the Bank’s standard procedures. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time seconded to a leading bank; - Assist in preparation of team budget & proposals; - Provide services to IT & business users by ensuring system performance and developing recommendations for corrections or improvements; - Perform deskside related tasks, in order to provide effective and efficient service, such as hardware/software planning & implementation, maintenance & support, applying patches & fixes, system monitoring & tuning, security baseline compliance review, problem solving and capacity planning; - Perform review of end-of-support hardware/software & plan for the upgrade or replacement; - Provide technical support and advice to application development teams, operations staff, IT management and any other relevant parties; - Process improvement on existing project and business-as-usual workflow; - Develop the relevant staff with the right kinds and level of skill; - Monitor the service quality of the team & ensure team members have strictly followed the standard regulatory requirements; - Cross-team and departments communications for project and business-as-usual support; - Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and - Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work; - Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 8.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - University graduate in Computer Science related or equivalent OR; - At least 8 years of experience in Microsoft Windows desktop platform management and administration; - At least 3 years of experience in management role, experience in banking and financial institute IT projects preferred; - Experience in project management, certification holder PMP is preferred; - Experience in vendor management; - Strong technical skills on Windows environment, Deskside hardware and software; - Certification holder of CISSP or CISA is an advantage; - Certification holder of related Microsoft and ITIL qualification will be an added advantage; - Sound Knowledge on Cloud, AI and IoT; - A team player with good communication skills and risk awareness; - Self-motivated and good problem solving skills; - Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable.
