Project Nature (T26) The IT Helpdesk Support role is responsible for providing timely and effective assistance to users in resolving application-related issues. Key responsibilities include:

1. Receiving and processing user reports of issues
2. Conducting initial troubleshooting and diagnosis to identify root causes
3. Providing prompt and accurate solutions to user enquiries
4. Escalating complex issues to relevant stakeholders, such as developers and business analysts, for further investigation and resolution
5. Maintaining open communication with users throughout the issue resolution process, providing regular updates on progress and ensuring that issues are resolved in a satisfactory and timely manner
Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD;
1. Act as the first point of contact for users, handling incoming enquiries via phone calls, emails and other online communication platforms
2. Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and application problems
3. Log, track, and update the support tickets using the issue tracking system (e.g. Azure DevOps)
4. Perform incident triage by assessing and prioritizing issues based on business impact and urgency, and escalate complex incidents to Developers or Business Analysts, and notifying relevant parties as necessary.
5. Proactively follow up with users on issue status in customer-oriented manner and ensure timely resolution
6. Collaborate closely with internal IT, development, and business teams to resolve user issues efficiently
7. Provide system administration support, including granting user access rights, adding new users etc., in accordance with security policies.
8. Provide assistance to QA colleagues with manual testing tasks
9. To perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements 1. Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
2. 1 years or above of experience in IT Helpdesk, Technical Support, or Customer Support
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with users.
4. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot user problems with good technical sense.
5. Experience with issue tracking systems (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar) is preferred
6. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in Production Database Support (PDS);
. At least 1 year's experience in Project Management and Issue Tracking System (PIT);
. At least 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Information System Study (ISS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS);
. At least 1 year's experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT);
. At least 1 year's experience in negotiation (NEG);
. Good coordination skills is a must;
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in quality assurance (QAS) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 1 year's post-qualification experience.
