(T26) To provide support for departmental network, including remote access, network system monitoring and intrusion detection

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DH;
To lead a in-house IT team provide on-going support of departmental network and to ensure smooth operation;
To implement proactive network system monitor and trigger alerts in automated and efficient way to support staff;
To monitor server room core network equipment and ensure smooth business operation ;
To conduct capacity planning to meet business growth need;
To support software defined wide area network (SDWAN) deployment and on-going support;
To housekeep access control list (ACL) and periodic review with internal project teams;
To issue invitation by consolidating departmental metro-ethernet (ME) lines by batches;
To work with other support teams in network planning for new offices or office relocations;
To implement and support intrusion detection and prevention appliance;
To support remote access through virtual private network (VPN);
Any other tasks assigned by DH.

| Requirements |
Familiar with government IT standards and methodologies and experience in working with or in the HKSAR government departments/bureaux;
Good interpersonal skills and communication skills;
Strong problem solving and analytical skill;
Responsible, independent and able to work under pressure; and
Experience in deployment and support of SDWAN over 200 remote sites
Technical Skills:
. At least 15 years' experience in Checkpoint Firewall Administration (CFA);
. At least 15 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP);
. At least 15 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
. At least 15 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU);
. 10 years' experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage;
. 5 years' experience in IT Security Scanning Tools (SST) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 10 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 5 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD);
. At least 5 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 15 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
