Work in other offices in Kowloon and Hong Kong occasionally Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Manage and support the network infrastructure and Government Office Automation (GOA) systems. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DEVB; 1. To administer the operation of network equipment and security systems, and to maintain the security level of these hardware equipment. 2. To provide technical support, troubleshooting and problem resolution related to the network infrastructure and Internet services. 3. To conduct regular health check of network equipment and rectify issues found. 4. To review daily security alerts and perform any upgrading and patching to the equipment deployed in the office. 5. To assist in implementation of new IT projects and renewal of maintenance of existing systems, and prepare the requirements specifications for procurement of IT systems, network products and services. 6. To assist in performing system administration on Linux servers and implement the automation scripts when necessary. 7. To seek support from / work with external parties (e.g. product manufacturers, maintenance service providers, etc.) when necessary. 8. To provide technical support on IT systems in the office. 9. To work at different offices to provide IT support occasionally. 10. To work overtime after office hours, on weekends / public holidays during system maintenance periods when required. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements 1. Technical knowledge and solid working experience in setup and administration on departmental network equipment (including routers, switches, VPN appliances and proxies, etc.) and security systems (including firewalls, ATP, IDS and IPS, etc.) in Government Bureau(x)/Department(s) in Hong Kong. 2. Well-versed in network routers and switches configuration, covering settings related to BGP, OSPF, VLAN, ACL, IRF and SNMP for the products of H3C, Huawei or other major brands. 3. Well-versed in firewalls configuration, covering settings related to routing, ACL, proxy, NAT, ATP, IDS, IPS and logging for the products of Fortinet, SonicWall or other major firewall brands. 4. Hands-on experience and troubleshooting skills in root cause analysis, providing work-around / solution to the problems and handling fire-fighting scenarios. 5. (Preferred) Knowledge and solid experience in following up IT Security Risk Assessment and Audit exercises with regard to the Government IT Security Policy and Guidelines. 6. (Preferred) Technical knowledge and solid working experience in administration on GOA systems. 7. (Preferred) Hands-on experience in administration on monitoring, system management and security-related solutions, including EDR, NAC, SIEM, event log analytics or privileged access management system. 8. (Preferred) Hands-on experience in Linux server scripting. 9. (Preferred) Knowledge and solid experience in Government procurement procedures, including hardware / software / service through bulk contract and/or direct purchase. 10. (Preferred) Possession of relevant networking certifications issued by the above-mentioned brands (i.e. H3C, Huawei, Fortinet, SonicWall, etc.) will be advantageous. 11. A short written test may be required and arranged on the interview day. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . At least 3 years' experience in Intrusion Prevention System (IPS); . At least 3 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW); . At least 3 years' experience in Networking (NET); . At least 3 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 3 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU); . At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in TCP/IP (TCP); . At least 3 years' experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS); . At least 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN); . 2 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Office Automation (OAN) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
