(T26) To oversee, manage and monitor IT related projects in the Dental Services of the Department of Health.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DH;
- Supervise project team to design, develop and manage IT related projects in the Dental Services;
- Lead the application development team to study on existing systems;
- Collect and consolidate requirements from both internal and external users;
- Work in many different business areas of Dental Services in collaboration with users coming from clinical and public health services of DH;
- Identify optimum technical solution;
- To ensure compliance of the system design and architectural solutions with the relevant frameworks, standards, policies and guidelines as set out for the DH dental projects;
- To facilitate the adoption of iAMSmart for DH dental public-facing applications as outlined in the Government Mobile Application Development Strategy;
- Prepare tender specifications and/or work assignment briefs;
- To support the infrastructure of the systems which hosted under Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS);
- Conduct project management, supervise and monitor the progress and performance of subordinates, contractors and subcontractors;
- Maintain and enhance the system after system rollout; and
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

| Requirements |
- Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Minimum 15 years of IT working experience with at least 5 years experience in similar capacity;
- At least 10 years experience in design, development and management of enterprise scale systems built on J2EE and/or .NET platform;
- At least 5 years experience in managing Government projects using PRINCE, SSADM or RAD methodologies and leading the development of clinical information system;
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) holder is preferred;
- Strong team player and capable to work under pressure independently and proactively; and
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Technical Skills:
. At least 10 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
. At least 6 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 5 years' experience in SSADM (SDM).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in Clinical Related Information System (CRS);
. At least 5 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. 3 years' experience in public health informatics (PHI) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 15 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
