Responsible for the maintenance, system administration, and operational support of departmental IT security systems; 2. Manage, optimize, and secure DevSecOps ecosystems and enterprise container platforms (e.g., Red Hat OpenShift), driving continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure-as-code initiatives; and 3. Assist in executing AI project security assessments, ensuring compliance with Ethical AI principles, data privacy regulations and risk management for departmental AI projects. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; (a) Administer and maintain IT security-related information systems, including but not limited to Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Cyberthreat Intelligence (CTI); (b) Perform security risk assessments on traditional IT and AI projects to ensure compliance with Government IT Security and Ethical AI principles; (c) Perform technical evaluations and security vetting of off-the-shelf IT software, enterprise AI add-ons and containerized applications; (d) Participate in and support the implementation of DevSecOps practices across development and operations workflows, including security integration into CI/CD pipelines, implementation of GitOps workflows, technical assistance in maturity capability assessments; and (e) Undertake any other duties as required by supervisors to support emerging technology security initiatives and IT project management. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (a) Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, or related IT disciplines, or equivalent (b) At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience in IT; (c) At least 1 year of working experience in information security. (d) Strong commitment to the project deadline and deliver high quality of work. (e) Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsive and well-organized. (f) Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills; and (g) Knowledge and solid experience in managing government tendering process would be a plus. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS); . 1 year's experience in Network & System Management (NSM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Operational Management (OPM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Rapid Application Development Methodology (RAD) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Source Control Management System (SCM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Security Incident Detection and Handling (SDH) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Security Scanning Tools (SST) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Anti-Spam Technology (AST) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Information Security Management (ISM) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 1 year's experience in IT audit (ITA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in managing corporate IT security framework (CSF) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
