Responsible for system administration, daily operational and maintenance support of the corporate website and relevant mini-sites with new additional A.I. features. The scope includes (1) content uploading to the websites with the integration of audio, video and graphics, (2) quality-testing and troubleshooting of the websites and/or their applications in various web browsers, (3) ensuring webpage content and design accuracy which is consistent with EMSD corporate style, and (4) collaborating and liaising with other EMSD divisions for webpage design and requirements. 2. Assisting IT project teams in providing advice and assistance for the front-end design of web-based application systems for EMSD, to ensure the systems are visually appealing, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; 1. To assist in system analysis & design, carry out implementation, documentation, report generation, testing and maintenance of various web application systems; 2. To provide daily operational support, patch upgrade and maintenance of EMSD Websites and its sub-sites; 3. To assist the research, feasibility study, user requirement definition, system analysis and design, documentation, testing, , AI Large Language Model (LLM) deployment and fine-tuning to HCL Domino Server Upgrade; 4. To conduct user research and testing to validate webpage design concepts with the creation of wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups; 5. To monitor website performance and make recommendations for the improvement of user accessibility and interface, also provide application support and perform compatibility tests on web browsers; 6. To evaluate and inspect/review hardware, software, and prepare technical proposals of IT equipment and services for internet enhancement, upgrade of infrastructure and the Intranets; 7. To evaluate and introduce AI tools into corporate operation, including AI chatbot, AI-assisted document processing, etc.; 8. To develop and maintain in-house web-based workflow applications using no-code / low-code development tools such as Out Systems and in house AI applications using tools such as Dify. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements a Degree or higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines; b At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification working experience in IT application development of which 3 years must be in similar post and in comparable capacity; c Solid experience in web application development and be able to write clean and well-structured code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; d Solid experience in web application and/or mobile application systems using frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Svelte, Next.js, or Vue.js; e Experience and knowledge in web programming, hosting, design and maintenance of Internet websites; f Experience of accessible web design with conformance of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)Standards; g Experience and knowledge in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility; h Experience with content management systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms; i Strong commitment for creating engaging user experiences, creating user-centered and visually appealing designs; j Experience in web application deployment procedures, source code revision control, issues management is a plus; k Knowledge in utilizing design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma is a plus; l Strong commitment to the project deadline, deliver high-quality work. m Solid experience in LDAP authentication, LDAP data pipelining; n Experience of self-hosted AI platform development or customization of open source AI chatbot front-end interface such as Open WebUI; o Strong knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation; p Experience on Vector Database administration such as Chroma DB. q Experience on Prompt engineering; r Experience on Linux system administration; s Experience on container engine administration such as Docker, Podman, etc.; t Experience on different APIframework development such as FastAPI, Express; u Experience on enhancing existing application with Generative AI technology using open-source LLM such as Qwen or DeepSeek. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 3 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 3 years' experience in Web 2.0 Services (W2S); . At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 1.5 years' experience in LDAP Application Programming (LDA); . 3 years' experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage; . 1.5 years' experience in Website Administration (WEA) is an advantage; . 1.5 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage; . 1.5 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Microsoft Internet Information Services (MIS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Data Modeling (DMO) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS); . Good coordination skills is a must; . 1 year's experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
