Job Key No 38910 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 59403-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 15 Apr 2026 Contract Period 01 Jun 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (8 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base 42/F, Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Application with System Support Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the EPD; - Take up the role of CCD 's Lan Administrator, which is responsible for: a) managing IT inventory, providing suggestion on procurement of IT equipment to CCD colleagues; b) keeping track of full inventory list of IT hardware and approved / licensed software for every group/unit user and common terminals; c) managing Group File Servers with group administrator account including setting up the permission of share folder and user accounts; d) supporting the daily server backup jobs; e) maintaining IP addresses of CCD's computers with proper group IP file record; f) coordinating LAN node cabling work and performing network connection between Client PC and departmental network; g) liaising with ITMU on computer and departmental IT facility matters; and h) providing support for IT related duties in relation to relocation of CCD. - Provide other IT related technical support to CCD colleagues including trouble shooting on computer, network and web hosting problems, software installation, Notes Mail archiving, drive mapping, setting up of hardware, W3C compliance checking; and - Conduct any duties as instructed by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements 1. Degree in Information Technology or related discipline 2. In-depth knowledge in system testing, PC and network support 3. Experienced in programming language knowledge in vba Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . At least 1 year's experience in VBA (VBA); . 2 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in PHP programming (PHP) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in budgetary control computer maintenance (BCM); . At least 1 year's experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT); . At least 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO); . 1 year's experience in IT strategy and policy advice (SPA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
