Design and develop responsive web applications and dashboards for visualizing tide gauge data together with new types of remote-sensing water level data, including real-time monitoring displays, historical data analysis tools, and user-friendly interfaces. 2. Create interactive data visualizations, charts, maps, and graphs for displaying tide levels, trends, anomalies, and other meteorological/oceanographic parameters. 3. Work with stakeholders to design intuitive user interfaces that meet operational requirements for HKO staff to access tide gauge data. 4. Ensure all frontend applications are responsive and accessible across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. 5. Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and data services, implementing efficient data fetching, caching, and state management. 6. Collect users&;#195;&;#402;&;#194;&;#162;&;#195;&;#162;&;#226;&;#8364;&;#353;&;#194;&;#172;&;#195;&;#162;&;#226;&;#8364;&;#382;&;#194;&;#162; feedback and suggestions for modifications of design of visualization display and user products. 7. Conduct user testing and implement improvements to enhance the usability and accessibility of tide gauge data applications for diverse user groups. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information System, or related subject ; AND Proficient in : (i) application development using programming language on Windows and Unix/Linux based platforms ; (ii) developing web-based / GIS-based user interface ; (iii) developing web-based applications including HTML, JSON, and XML. Knowledge in scripting language: JavaScript, jQuery, Python, PHP, JSP, and UNIX/Linux shell script ; (iv) use of AI-assisted tools. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 3 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 1 year's experience in Web 2.0 Services (W2S); . At least 1 year's experience in PHP programming (PHP); . At least 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5); . 1 year's experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Apache Web Server (AWS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in XML (XML) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 1 year's experience in quality assurance (QAS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
